About this site

Alt Asset Report is an independent publication launched in July 2024 by me, Scott Moorhouse. I started this site to help people discover investment opportunities outside of the traditional stocks and bonds world.

My background includes a Finance undergrad degree with an MBA focused on Economics. In my early career, I spent time as a mutual fund accountant and a consultant analyzing private equity investments. Today, I work in sales at a large software company.
